the wrap dress

I want timeless pieces in my wardrobe which allow me to transition from work to play by simply adding some accessories. One such garment is the wrap dress - universally flattering and curve enhancing - it is an enduring classic.
The wrap dress was first introduced in 1972 by Diane von Furstenberg with the aim of appealing to the professional woman searching for an easy-to-wear yet stylish dress for the work environment. Made out of stretchy fabric in bright and bold prints and colours, the dress was an immediate hit. Since its re-launch in 1997, the wrap has not only become a staple in every woman’s wardrobe, but reached an iconic status within the fashion world.
